Luisa Vieira Lima

Luisa is a lawyer with experience in tax litigation, conducting administrative and judicial proceedings involving federal, state, and municipal taxes. Before joining Cunha Leão, she worked at well-regarded law firms in Minas Gerais and in the chambers of a judge of the Minas Gerais State Court of Justice dedicated to tax matters, gaining a broad perspective on tax litigation.

She is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Tax Law at the Center for Studies in Law and Business (CEDIN) and has taken a course in the institution’s master’s program as a non-degree student. In 2023, she won first place in the Tax Moot CARF, a national moot court competition simulating hearings before the Administrative Council of Tax Appeals, in which she served as an oralist and was distinguished in the qualifying and semifinal rounds.
