Anthéia Aquino Melo

Anthéia focuses on administrative and judicial tax litigation involving federal, state, and municipal taxes and social security contributions. With more than ten years of experience, she represents large companies in complex tax disputes, devising litigation strategy, preparing administrative and judicial defenses, and developing legal arguments on tax matters.

She advises Brazilian and multinational companies in sectors such as energy, mining, oil and gas, retail, construction, fertilizers, and manufacturing, and has particular experience in social security and other social contribution matters.

She holds a master’s degree in Public and Tax Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC Minas), a specialization in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET), and a law degree from Faculdade de Direito Milton Campos. She has published work on tax and social security law.
